Five years old Manan (Patient Identification Number L-14670) was brought at Life Force for consultation on 19th June 05.
The child complained of pain in abdomen since the last 3-4 months. The pain in abdomen increased only during and after meals. He did not complain of pain on any other time of the day. He experienced sensation of nausea but no vomiting. He was under conventional medicines to combat these, but there no relief. As soon as the medicines would stop he would get severe pain in abdomen and nausea would reappear.
The investigations (USG) revealed that lymph nodes in the abdomen were enlarged. He was diagnosed with Abdominal Lymphanedopathy (mesenteric lymph nodes measuring 11.9mm, 7.3mm, and 6.8mm) in July 10. His Mantoux test (for tuberculosis) was negative.
He previously suffered with recurrent cough and inflamed tonsils.
The child had an average appetite. He was a vegetarian and loved spicy food. He had a thirst for moderate quantity of water. The whole body perspired a lot.
All the milestones were normal.
He stayed with his parents and grandparents. The child was active and social. He liked to share his things with children of his age. He was stubborn, did not like to try anything new.
The case was thoroughly studied. Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed constitutional homeopathic medicines for him. The complaints were slightly less in the firsr week of starting the treatment. But there were significant changes within the next 4 weeks.
He enjoyed the food now. No one needed to force him to eat. He stopped the conventional treatment. The pain reduced very much.
The investigations (USG) showed no significant lymphadenopathy any more.
He had started to put on weight. He has gained three kilogram (from 19 kg to 22kg) in four months. He is much better now. He did not required to take any other medicine.
