Case Study of Ankylosing Arthritis
Mrs. M.F.W. PIN Number (L-9528) age 28 years, reported for the treatment of Ankylosing spondylitis, which was diagnosed since last 8 years.
Her complaints increased since the last 5 years after her delivery. Her complaints are very severe since the last one year.
She had pain in lower back, both legs, hip joints; she had severe stiffness in the back in the morning, difficulty in walking, almost unable to walk. She complained of Chest pain, pain on deep breathing and on coughing and sneezing. Her chest expansion had reduced.
She complained of trembling of the body while walking.
She was on pain killers, but off late, she would get swelling on the body after taking pain killers. So she had discontinued them. She also complained of right frozen shoulder since one year. She had mild to moderate pain in her right knee pain. She had a craving for spicy food.
She could not tolerate winter. She felt better in summer.
She stayed with her husband. She had kept her daughter with her parents as her pain was so incapacitating, that she could not look after her daughter’s daily chores. Patient was severely distressed.

X Ray Lumbo-Sacral Spine revealed changes suggestive of Ankylosing spondylitis.
Patient was a good looking, fair, medium built female. She had studied till graduation and she worked in a private office before marriage.
She was very social and talkative by nature.
She liked company. She was anxious by nature, if her husband was late from work she would get anxious and nervous, she would call him and inquire about his well being.
She was very tense during pregnancy about there future. She was apprehensive about the future, about the child’s future, about her ability to manage the house. She had financial stress.
She was considering joining a job to support the family. Due to pregnancy, she could not join a job. She had disturbed sleep. She suffered from acidity, probably due to consuming pain killers.
Dr. Shah examined her and after studying her case prescribed a remedy developed at Life Force Center. She reported 30 % improvement after 2 months. After 4 months of treatment she was better by 80 %.
She back pain would get worse during menstruation.
Her stiffness was less, her pain was much less. She could walk without any difficulty. She still had some pain and stiffness on getting up and sitting down; for 5 minutes, but she could perform her work without any difficulty.
