A 37-years-old male, Mr. M.B.P. (PIN 32301) consulted at Life Force for his Lichen Planus complaints on the 1st June 2017. He had developed small, flat black & spherical spots on his legs, hands, and palms from the last three months. His oral cavity was also affected by the disease. His disease had progressed slowly from the last 3 months. His eruptions were itchy. He was applying one ointment, which was a steroid. Also, he was also taking anti-allergic medicine for it. Besides Lichen planus, he was also suffering from alopecia areata and hair-fall. He was taking conventional medicine for the same.

He had fair skin and was of average build. He was a non-vegetarian by diet. He desired sweets. He had no specific disliking. His thirst was average. His perspiration was profuse. His bowel movements were irregular. His stool was hard. His sleep was sound. 

He was running a play-school for the last one year. His wife was also supporting him in running the playschool. He had one 5-years-old son. His parents had expired.

He had chicken-pox and hernia complaints in his past history. His hernia was operated in 2016. In his family, his father was suffering from Parkinson's and gastritis. His mother and brother were suffering from hypertension.

He was short-tempered by nature. He was very emotional too. But, he used to get depressed on very small things. He was not happy in his childhood. His financial condition was not good, so he lived in a hostel at the age of five years. He enjoyed the company. 

Dr. Shah studied his case in detail, and he has prescribed a research-based molecule to the patient.

On 17th June 2017, the patient informed that a few new eruptions had appeared. But, his itching had reduced. After taking the details, it was found that his new eruptions had appeared due to the withdrawal symptoms of steroids. He stopped his steroid usage, so new eruptions had appeared. He was advised to continue the same medicine.

On 18th July 2017, he gave his next follow-up. His skin lichen planus was as it is, but, lichen planus on his tongue was totally cured. He reduced his steroids. He was advised to do some blood tests also.

A few months later on 29th September 2017, the patient gave his next follow-up. This time the patient informed that his LP was improved by more than 25%. The spots on his hands, palms, and legs spots experienced more than 25% improvement. No new spots had appeared. His Vitamin D was low, so he was advised to take Vitamin D supplements. 

On 21st December 2017, he informed that no new spots had appeared and his condition was 60% improved. His other complaints were also in good condition.
When the patient gave the follow-up on 27th March 2018, his Lichen Planus had improved by more than 80%. A few active lesions were observed. All his lichen planus spots showed an improvement, and his anxiety level too was reduced. He was very satisfied with the treatment.

On 1st May 2018, he informed that his relief from lichen planus complaint was 90% improved. His itching was also improved by more than 80%. His alopecia areata were totally cured. His reduction in hair fall was also 70% improved. The patient was very happy with the treatment.

The patient is still continuing the homeopathic treatment from Life Force for further improvement.
