Oral Lichen Planus Was Treated Successfully In 8 Months With Homeopathy At Life Force

A 65-year-old male patient from Shimla, Mr. P.P. (PIN: 42476) started online homeopathic treatment in January 2020 for his complaint of oral lichen planus.  
He was suffering from it for the last 3-4 months. The redness and hyperpigmented spots were present on his tongue and the inner side of his cheeks. He was suffering from severe and intense burning in the mouth. The patient was unable to take the slightest chilly or hot tea and coffee.  He was taking allopathic medicines and applying ointment but it was not helping him.

His appetite was average. He had no specific desire to eat food. He was unable to take spicy food. His thirst for water was sufficient. The patient had no issues related to the urine and stool. His sleep was refreshing. 

The patient was retired. He was very satisfied and happy with his life. He had no major stress. He was staying with his wife and 3 children.

He did not suffer from any other major illnesses in the past. There was no major history of any specific illness in his family.

After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines along with some dietary tips to the patient.

Follow-Ups:
 
On the first follow-up on 20th March 2020, the patient reported that he had experienced an improvement in the relief with the medicines. The patient was almost 20% better with the medicines. The burning had reduced significantly. His relief in the redness and hyperpigmentation in the mouth was better. The patient was overall better with the medicines. He had stopped using allopathic medicines and was only taking homeopathy now.

On 17th June 2020, the patient reported being further better with the medicines. He was almost 60%-70% better now. The burning discomfort was minimal. The redness and hyperpigmentation were no more present in the mouth. The patient was able to eat food with normal spices now. He also started having tea without any difficulty. The patient was very happy with the progress. 

On 29th October 2020, the patient updated that his relief in the complaints was 90% better. Just mild burning present occasionally. The patient was able to eat and drink normal food. He was overall better with the medicines.

The patient thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for treating him and improving his health. 

Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homeopathy is highly effective in treating oral lichen planus successfully and safely without any side-effects.
