A 47 years old lady Mrs. K. H. (Patient identification number-18942) from South Africa, wife of an eminent surgeon, signed up for the treatment from Life Force Homeopathy on 7th April 2011. She was suffering from oral Lichen Planus since 10 years. She had lichen planus in her oral cavity, forehead, neck, right elbow and genitals. She had itching on forehead, neck and elbow. Her lesions were hyper pigmented. She experienced burning sensation in genitals while having relations with her husband. There was burning sensation oral cavity on eating spicy food. She would occasionally apply cortisone cream in her genitals and find some relief.

The stress factor she could relate to this onset of Lichen Planus was sudden death of her son in law. It was traumatizing for her to see her daughter as a widow.

She had average thirst and appetite and she loved eating chocolates. She had no complaints in her perspiration, urine, and bowel movements. She would find difficulty in falling asleep. She was more tolerant to warm weather.

Her father was suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

She was a resident of South Africa and stayed with her husband, son and daughter in law. Once in a while her mother would come to stay with them.

She was a home maker. Her husband was a surgeon.

She was affectionate and sensitive by nature. She was anxious about her family all the time. She would feel frustrated if she could not have her way in certain circumstances.

She was allergic to onions and tomatoes.

Dr. Shah prescribed her research based medicines after studying her case in detail.

She gave her progress report on 11th August 2011. She reported mild relief in itching of neck, elbow and forehead. The burning sensation in her oral cavity and genitals was still persistent. There were no new lesions. There was no spread. Her case was stable. The disease progression was stopped. Her case was reviewed and medicines were upgraded by Dr. Shah.

On 27th December 2011 she reported further improvement. She had 30-40% relief in itching of neck, forehead and right elbow. The burning sensation of oral cavity and genitals had reduced up to 25%. She requested 8 months medicine as she was going out of town for some months.

She reported on 4th September 2013 and was happy to report that there was no itching or burning. Her lichen planus marks had reduced up to 40 - 50%. She could overall feel 60 – 80% improvement.

She is still continuing treatment to attain complete recovery from Lichen planus. She expressed her joy to Dr. Shah that after so many years she was happy to live a comfortable life without having discomfort like itching and burning.
