Rahul&#8217;s mother had to find a way out of her son\u2019s recurrent agony.<\/p>\n<p>When Rahul\u2019s mother visited their doctor, the condition was diagnosed as tonsillitis.<\/p>\n<h2>So what is tonsillitis?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Tonsils \u2013 the body\u2019s guardians:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tonsils are the lumps of tissue (called lymph nodes) which are located one on either side of the back of our mouth. Lymph nodes are soft tissues which help filter the bacteria, viruses and other germs. Thus, these tonsils are a part of our body\u2019s defence system \u2013 the immune system.
