I have responded very well to the treatment. The hives are less severe now. I would say there is 70% improvement on the severity, though minor outbreaks are everyday. There is improvement in the intensity and severity of the rash outbreaks. Frequency-wise I still have minor rashes almost daily, but the duration is shorter. Certain times I have taken only half dosages of the antihistamines and my rashes were manageable. I am hoping I might not need any treatment for my urticaria in the near future. I always thought I will never get rid of my complaints ever since the doctors diagnosed me to have GERD. I just kept visiting several doctors and then taking a series of prescriptions which obviously did not help for long. I visited Dr. Shah with the same kind of belief that I just would get better for the time being.
