A 31 years old lady manager, irritable by nature, stressed out; got cured of Fissure-in-ano and surgery was avoided.

A 31 years old lady Mrs. P. K. [PIN L-7674] came to the clinic for the treatment of fissure-in-ano. She had fissure-in-ano for the past three months. There was a severe, pricking type of pain while passing stools. She experienced pain for several hours after stools. She had to strain for stools. There was bleeding while passing stools. There was no history of constipation. The stools were soft. She was on analgesic creams and antibiotics. She has advised surgery.

There was a similar episode 10 years ago and she had undergone surgery, then. This time she was determined to avoid surgery.

She worked in a managerial position. She described herself as a short-tempered, irritable person, getting irritated on petty things.

She liked to be consoled. She had fear of heights.
She had financial worries and since her father was unwell, she had concerns for him. Her sleep was reduced as she would attend to the office and nurse her father, on coming back home.
She liked spicy and non-vegetarian food. She preferred cold climates and air conditioners. There was a dislike for milk.

Her case was studied and evaluated at Life Force. Dr. Shah prescribed Nitric Acid 200 C and then Sulphur 200 C as the case demanded. (Please avoid self-medication with these medicines.) Within a week her fissure in ano was better by 60 %. In the second follow-up, she was without any complaints. The bleeding had stopped in the first few weeks of starting the medicines.

In the next few months, she developed mild re-occurrence of pain and occasional bleeding, especially after eating non-vegetarian food and too spicy food, combined with excessive traveling. She was advised to avoid chilly and spicy food. She became symptom-free in 3-4 weeks. She was free of fissure-in-ano, after which her treatment was discontinued. She kept reporting for her family members. She remained symptom-free since then. Surgery was avoided in her case.
