A 5 Years Old Boy Recovered Incredibly From Nephrotic Syndrome With Homeopathy

A 5 years old cute little boy, Master. V. S. (PIN 29857) sent online a questionnaire on 26th September 2016. He was suffering from the complaints of nephrotic syndrome. He suffered from the first episode before 2 years; the second was in August 2015, and the third episode occurred in August 2016. The episode used to start with the swelling on the face, swelling around the eyes, abdomen, testicles, and legs, and severe cough and cold. All these episodes were managed by oral steroid courses. He was a very happy and active child. He used to get mood swings while on steroids.

He had an average appetite.

He was studying in the nursery.

His paternal grandfather and grandmother were suffering from cancer. His maternal grandfather was suffering from diabetes and arthritis. His mother was suffering from an underactive thyroid.

He was a very happy and active child. He used to get a lot of mood swings while on steroids. After the birth of the second child i.e. his sibling, he used to turn a bit insecure but does not harm the little one.

His case details were studied by Dr. Shah in detail, and he was prescribed research-based medicines for nephrotic syndrome.

He reported after 2 months on 24th November 2016 with no complaints.

Later, he came for the follow-up on 8th December 2016. He had suffered 2 weeks ago with one episode of cold which got better on its own. Prior to the start of this treatment, he used to get the relapse of Nephrotic syndrome every June and, sometimes, for more than once a year. After starting this treatment, he didn’t suffer a single relapse till now. His stamina had increased, and he didn’t suffer from a cough and cold that frequently. He was off the steroids since September 2017. Since September, his urine protein levels had been well below the required mark.

He reported on 5th Feb. 2017 and reported that he suffered no episode since the treatment started.

His mother sent feedback over the phone on 4th April 2017 that the patient’s condition was much better. Quantitatively, his improvement in the relief from Nephrotic syndrome was about 80%. His mother also reported that his immunity had improved by 80%. He had no relapses. However, he was on a low dosage of steroids until 24th of March 2017. From the 25th March, he had stopped taking the steroids.

Later, he came for the follow-up on 7th June 2017. No relapse of the Nephrotic syndrome was observed. He was off the steroids for 2 months.

Parents of the patient reported on 5th August 2017 that no relapse of the Nephrotic syndrome was observed. He was off the steroids for 4 months.

Latest follow-up was given on 5th April 2018. The parents of the patient reported that no relapse was experienced since the start of this treatment. Urine protein levels were negative.

Conclusion:

This case highlights the fact that a well-chosen homeopathic remedy and regular follow-ups can promote a remarkable recovery from the nephrotic syndrome in the patient’s condition. In this case, parents continued to take a long-term treatment for their child, even in the absence of relapses, which helped the patient to obtain great results.
