European Young Man With Extensive Alopecia Areata Finds Significant Recovery With Homeopathy
A 19-year-old youngster from Kosovo, Europe, Mr. A.A. (PIN:25620) was suffering from Alopecia Areata from 14 years of age. When he contacted Life Force, he had extensive bald patches on the scalp and hair loss in eyebrows, eyelashes, and beard. Initially, he had small patches in the scalp that later united and formed a big patch. He had almost 90% hair loss on the scalp. He had a small patch on his eyebrow that was approximate 1/2 cm and 2 spots in his beard that were approximately 1 cm in size. He had taken steroid injections and other external applications in the past without a significant relief in the bald spots. He started treatment with Life Force on 28th April 2018.
He had an average appetite. He was fond of meat, sweets, eggs, and spicy food. He could not tolerate heat in general. His sleeping patterns were disturbed. He used to have too many dreams, which were disturbing his sleep. He had dreams, particularly of snakes.
He had no major illness in the past. Also, there was no medical history of any illness in his family.
After studying and analyzing his case history in detail, he was prescribed SYPHILINUM 1M.
Follow-Ups:
After four months of the homeopathic treatment on 25th August 2018, a slight difference in his patches was visible. Minor hair regrowth was observed on the scalp. However, the hairs were not that strong, and the regrown hairs were grey. The fact that there was hair regrowth indicated that the hair follicles were responsive and hair regrowth can be achieved in his case.
After eight months of following the homeopathic treatment, when the patient gave feedback on 20th October 2018, there was a considerable reduction in the size of the Areata patches. The patches on his scalp showed 30%-40% improvement in terms of relief, and the recovery from the patches on the beard and eyebrows was better. The patient had experienced around 80% of improvement in relief in alopecia areata. No new bald patches had appeared.
In between, there was a gap in the treatment for a few months. The patient restarted the homeopathic treatment on 28th February 2019. There was no further improvement in his condition, so Dr. Shah revised the medicines.
In the next 8 months of following homeopathic treatment, when the patient gave the follow-up on 15th December 2019, the areata spots on his scalp, beard, eyebrows showed considerable changes. The recovery achieved in all his bald patches is more than 80%. Mr. A.A. is still under our Homeopathic treatment for further recovery.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in promoting hair re-growth. Significant recovery from Alopecia Areata can be achieved with homeopathy effectively & safely without any side-effects.
