An 8-Year-Old Boy Was Relieved Of Frequent Colds With Homeopathy At Life Force

An 8-year-old boy, Mast. S.K.G. (PIN: 24999) visited Life Force on 28th February 2015 along with his parents for the treatment of his complaint of recurrent upper respiratory tract infections. He was experiencing the episodes of the upper respiratory tract infections quite frequently - once a month, and it used to last for almost 10-12 days. During the episodes, he used to have a rattling cough along with sneezing and watery coryza. The child used to turn very dull and would have a fever of around 100 degrees during almost every episode. He was struggling with this disease since birth. Whenever he would suffer from an episode, he had to take antibiotics.

He had an associated complaint of Nephrotic Syndrome, for which he was already on steroids. Also, the boy was underweight.

The patient’s diet was mixed, and he had an average appetite. He was having cravings for spicy food. His thirst was average. He used to sweat profusely on the whole body. He was sensitive to the heat. His bowels were satisfactory. All his milestones were normal.

The patient was short-tempered and stubborn by nature. He was very active, expressive, and talkative.

The boy had a medical history of Pneumonia twice in one and a half years. Dr. Shah studied the case in detail and prescribed his research-based molecules to the patient. The boy gradually got recovered from his disease.

When the patient gave the first follow-up in May 2015, he had experienced a good improvement of about 60% to 70%. But, his appetite was low.

In December 2015, the patient’s relief in his complaint had improved up to 75%. He had experienced no episode in the last one and a half months. His appetite had improved a bit.

In December 2016, the patient was much better and had experienced no episode in the last 4-5 months. The severity of the episode had reduced. The patient had experienced fluctuating recovery in the last few months, as in between, the child had taken the cold things and had outside food occasionally.

From December 2016 to January 2018, again, the patient’s health had improved remarkably, as he had only two mild episodes during the period. His relief in all the symptoms of coryza and cough had improved.

In March 2019, the patient was 90% better with no episodes of cold, cough, and fever affecting him since March 2018.

In February 2020, the patient was relieved of nose block, sneezing, cough, and coryza. His treatment was stopped.

Conclusion:

This case illustrates that homeopathy is very effective in treating Frequent Upper Respiratory Tract Infections incredibly and safely without any side-effects.
