A Teacher Got Satisfactory Result In Her Relief In Chronic Psoriasis
A 42-year-old teacher, (PIN: 36482) consulted at Life Force for her psoriasis complaint on 14th April 2018. She had been suffering from this complaint for five years, but her condition was progressing since one and a half months. So, she approached us to treat her condition. Her scalp, back, legs, knees, ears, and genitals were affected. She had erythematous patches on her different body parts with severe itching and scaling. She had taken conventional medicine and Ayurvedic medicine for the same.
First, let’s have a look at what Psoriasis exactly is. Psoriasis is an obstinate skin condition in which red patches of various sizes develop on the skin and the skin is covered with dry, silvery scales. Psoriasis is a chronic skin condition, and it is an autoimmune disorder.
For such type of chronic and autoimmune disease, some internal medicines are required to enhance the immunity and improve the altered immune system by restoring it to normalcy, instead of suppressing of disease by using external ointments.
Homeopathic medicines work to improve the recovery from the disease internally. They do not suppress the disease but work to achieve long-term relief.
For homeopathic prescriptions, detailed case taking is required. Hence, the patient’s case was noted in detail.
Physical Generals:
She was a non-vegetarian by diet, and she liked eating salty food. She was very fond of fish and non-vegetarian food. She didn't like sweets. Her thirst was less, and her sleep, bowel movement, and menstrual cycle were normal.
Mental Sphere:
Mentally, she was sensitive and emotional by nature, and she couldn't forget anything easily. Her emotions were suppressed. Overall, she was a quiet person.
Family’s Medical History:
In her family history, migraine was the major complaint. Her father, mother, and brother everyone had a migraine complaint. In addition to this, her mother was suffering from hyperthyroidism, and her brother was suffering from sinusitis.
After studying and evaluating her case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed his research-based molecule to the patient. Also, she was advised to do some blood tests.
Follow-Ups:
On 16th May 2018, when she gave her first feedback, she informed that her relief in the condition was 25% better. Redness in her eruptions, itching, and scaling had 25% reduced. For external dryness, she was advised to apply coconut oil or olive oil 3-4 times as per her body requirements.
As per her blood reports, she had vitamin deficiencies. So, she was advised to start vitamin D and B12 supplements. She was explained to follow the required diet for psoriasis.
In June 2018, she informed about her new complaint of Candidiasis. She had thick greenish discharge from her vagina from many months with severe itching and offensive smell. So, another medicine was provided to her for this new complaint.
After five months of following the homeopathic medicine, her relief in the condition was 40% improved. All her spots on the knees, legs, ears, hands, and genitals had reduced by 50%. And, her scalp eruptions had reduced by 25%. She revisited in October 2018 and informed that her relief in the condition was better. Some new eruptions had appeared two months back, but, during her visit, no new eruptions were visible. Her itching and scaling had reduced a lot. She was taking her vitamin supplements regularly and following the necessary diet restrictions.
In the winter, continuous aggravations in the disease were observed. Due to the nature of the disease, the winter season could trigger the condition. So, as per her condition, Dr. Shah did required changes in her medicine.
After changing the medicine, she reported about her condition in May 2019. She informed that no new eruptions had appeared. Old eruptions were as it is, but the itching was still present. So, she was advised to apply coconut oil frequently and follow the diet strictly. Also, she was advised to avoid non-vegetarian foods because she was very fond of it.
In September 2019, her relief in the condition was better. No new eruptions had appeared. Her relief in the old eruptions had improved by 60%. Redness, itching, and scaling had also reduced.
As per her medical history, her vitamins were low and she had completed her vitamins supplement course. So, she was advised to recheck the same. In her recent reports, her vitamin levels had improved but had not met the desired level, so she was advised to continue the supplements for two more months.
She gave her feedback in January and March 2020. In the last winter of 2019, nothing triggered her condition. Her recovery from the diseased condition was very good. Relief in all her eruptions had shown a 75% improvement. The eruptions on her back, elbows, and hands had almost disappeared. The recovery from the eruptions on her legs, thighs, and scalp had 70% improved.
She was very happy with the result and is continuing our treatment for further improvement.
