Chronic Asthmatic Bronchitis Relieved In A Couple Of Years With Homeopathic Treatment

An 11-year-old child, Mr. S.P. (PIN: 25649) visited Life Force on 11th May 2015 with a complaint of Asthmatic Bronchitis. He was suffering from this problem since childhood. He was experiencing frequent throat infection with breathlessness which would eventually lead to fever. The frequency of these episodes would be once in 15 days and would last for a week. It would start after consuming anything cold or after having chocolates. He would have to take an Asthalin inhaler as and when needed. Along with this, he was suffering from the dryness and itching of the eyes.

Mr. S.P.’s brother also suffered from asthmatic bronchitis, and there was a family history of chronic cold.

He had a mixed diet and would love to eat spicy food. His favorite foods were chicken, prawns, chocolates, and cheese. He didn’t feel too thirsty and used to have an intake of water of only half a liter per day. He used to sweat on the palms and soles and could not tolerate the warm weather.

His parents said that he was a happy child and would mix with everyone and used to make friends very easily. He liked traveling and dancing. The patient’s parents also mentioned that he had a great fear of water.

Dr. Shah studied his case in detail, and, based on the case history, he prescribed research-based molecules to the patient.

Follow-Ups:

At the first follow-up on 23rd June 2015, the patient’s episodes had reduced, and he was much better. Also, the frequency of episodes had reduced significantly.

By 28th Dec 2015, Mr. S.P. was 70% better. The intensity and severity of episodes of asthmatic bronchitis had greatly reduced. His medicines were revised again.

On 23rd June 2016, the patient’s parents mentioned that his dependency on inhalers had reduced to minimal. There was no breathlessness affecting him, and no episodes of fever occurred.

On 13th Dec 2016, the patient’s parents reported to the Chembur head branch that the patient was stable. Mr. S.P. had no episodes of cold, cough, or fever.

By 30th March 2017, the patient’s dependency on inhalers was nil, and he was stable even without the use of inhalers. Hence, the treatment was discontinued.

After taking the homeopathic medicines at Life Force, Mr. S.P. was absolutely fine for one year. He experienced no episodes at all in the entire year during which he did not take the medicines. There was a complete withdrawal of inhalers for 1 year.

Mr. S.P. restarted the treatment with Life Force on 3rd March 2018 when he got the episode of cold again after playing Holi. This time he had not taken any inhalers, but his parents did not want to take any chance hence he started the treatment again. Dr. Shah studied his case again prescribed the necessary medicines to the patient.

By 20th December 2018, the patient’s parents reported that he was improving gradually. There was a gradual reduction in the frequency and intensity of his cold.

He had no episodes for six months. Again, on 19th March 2019, he had an acute episode due to a change in the weather but the intensity was much less. The medicines were revised, based on his symptoms.

On the 19th November 2019, the patient’s parents reported at Chembur clinic saying that he hardly had two to three mild episodes of cold and cough due to the change in the weather.

Again, on 27th May 2020, Mr. S.P. reported that he had an episode of cold and had to take inhalers again in the last week due to breathlessness. His medicines were revised, based on his symptoms.

A parent of Mr. S.P. filled up the online progress report on 29th September 2020 and mentioned that he was better by 50%. He said that the patient experienced slight sneezing in the morning and occasional cough but did not have to take inhalers. The patient was no more experiencing breathlessness nor any episodes of fever.

Mr. S.P. continues to take homeopathic treatment at Life Force. The patient’s parents are very happy that the patient’s dependency on inhalers is almost nil and the frequency and intensity of the bronchitis are well-controlled with the homeopathic medicines.

Conclusion:
This case illustrates that the prescription of the right homeopathic medicines reduces the dependency on inhalers and steroids. Homeopathy is highly effective in treating asthmatic bronchitis in children incredibly and safely without any side-effects.
