A 4-Year-Old Vitiligo Patient Experienced Immense Repigmentation With Homeopathy At Life Force
A 4-year-old girl, Miss. A.K. (PIN: 38692) came to Life Force with complaints of Vitiligo on 28th November 2018. She was suffering from vitiligo 3-4 months before starting our treatment at Life Force. She had vitiligo spots on her right side of the chest, right shoulder, right axilla, right hand’s fingers, and right arm. Her vitiligo spots were of segmental variety. The spots were increasing gradually. She had taken conventional medicines for 1 month but experienced no change in her relief in vitiligo spots. There was no genetic link to vitiligo present in her case. A Vitamin D supplement was recommended to the patient.
She lived with her father, mother, paternal grandfather, and paternal grandmother. He father was an IT consultant, & her mother was pursuing B.Ed.
Her father suffered from Diabetes. A strong family history of Diabetes was present in her family, as her paternal grandfather, maternal grandfather, and paternal grandmother had Diabetes. Her mother had a history of recurrent tonsillitis. Also, her maternal grandmother had a history of Cancer.
There was a history of osteomalacia at age of 4 months & recurrent tonsillitis in her past.
She was a short-tempered child. Occasionally, she would beat her father. She had the fear of the sound of a bursting balloon. She took time to mix with new people. Irritability was present in the patient.
Her case was evaluated in detail as per the homeopathic protocols. Dr. Rajesh Shah’s patented medicines for vitiligo along with some dietary tips were prescribed to the patient.
Follow-Ups:
In 6 weeks of homeopathic treatment, her relief in vitiligo showed significant changes. Re-pigmentation had occurred in all her vitiligo spots i.e. the spots on her right side of the chest, right shoulder, right axilla, right hand’s fingers, right arm, and right forearm. The patient was also undergoing phototherapy weekly twice since 24th November 2018.
In the next follow-up on 14th February 2019, the recovery from all her vitiligo spots had improved further. The spread of the disease had stopped completely. No new spots appeared. Phototherapy was also continued with the focus on the whole body one week, and, the next week, with the focus on the affected parts.
On 14th June 2019, the patient’s parents informed us that the recovery from all her vitiligo spots was better by 50%. Meanwhile, her parents noticed a new spot on her right hand’s finger web in the last 1 to 1.5 months. Considering her parents’ concern, it was explained to them that vitiligo is a chronic autoimmune disease with waxing and waning of the lesions, particularly in growing children. New lesions may develop with the fluctuations in their immunity, even though they are on homeopathic treatment. It was advised to the parents to continue with the same medicines. Phototherapy was continued once in 4 days.
On 12th November 2019, the recovery from all her spots had improved by 75% further. The spread of the disease had stopped completely. No new spots had developed.
In less than 1 year of homeopathic treatment, her recovery from vitiligo showed around 75% to 80 % improvement. Just mild negligible spots were left. No new vitiligo spots had developed.
She was advised to take maintaining doses and then to stop the treatment.
Conclusion:
In our day-to-day practice at Life Force, we examine and treat many Vitiligo patients. The response to Homeopathic treatment in children is much better as compared to those in adults. After long-term Homeopathic treatment, we have observed significant results in the recovery from Vitiligo in children. This case illustrates that homeopathy is highly effective in promoting the recovery from vitiligo in children incredibly and safely without any side-effects.
