Lichen Planus Pigmentosa (LPP) Healed Wonderfully With Homeopathy

A 59-year-old female patient from Kerala, Mrs. B.V. (PIN: 41741) started homeopathic treatment online in November 2019 for her complaint of Lichen Planus Pigmentosa.

She was suffering from this skin condition since 2 years. There were hyper-pigmented dark patches on her face, neck, back, hands, and legs. The disease was spreading with every passing day, and her skin was turning darker day by day. The patient was not experiencing itching on the affected area. The patient was very anxious about her disease. She was reluctant to go out in public places due to her appearance. She had not taken any treatment for it. The patient was also having hypothyroidism for which she was taking thyroid supplements.

Her appetite was good. She loved to eat fruits. Her thirst for water was adequate. The patient had no issues related to the urine and stool. Her sleep was often disturbed due to anxiety.

The patient was a housewife. She was staying with her husband and her daughter. She was very anxious and restless by nature. There was no other major stress present.

She had not suffered from any other major illnesses in the past. There were no major illnesses noticed in the family during the case taking.

After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines to the patient.

Follow-Ups:

On 20th April 2020, the patient reported being overall better with the medicines. She had experienced a 20% improvement with homeopathic medicines. The spread of disease was reduced a lot. Hyperpigmentation was still present on the affected part but it was turning lighter. The patient was experiencing a slow recovery from the disease.

On 27th October 2020, the patient updated that she had experienced overall improvement with the homeopathic medicines. She was almost 50% better now. The spread of disease was totally under control and no new patches had appeared since a long time. The hyperpigmentation on the skin was slowly fading away. There was a lot of difference noticed with the medicines.

On 14th April 2021, she reported being almost 60% better in her relief in the complaints. The spread of the disease had stopped completely. Hyperpigmented marks on her skin were turning lighter. She was happy with the overall improvement that she got with the medicines.

On 22nd September 2021, the patient was 80% better in her relief in the complaints. Hyperpigmented spots were a lot lightened, and her skin had almost turned normal. The patient was very happy with the improvement.

The patient and her husband thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for treating her and improving her skin health. She is still under our treatment to finish the complete course of medicines.

Conclusion:

This case illustrates that homeopathy is highly effective in treating lichen planus pigmentosa incredibly and safely with no side effects.
