She visited our centre on 29th January, 2012. She was 51 years old. She was complaining of Osteoarthritis of both knee joints since 4 – 5 months. She had pain during getting up from the sitting position. She had not taken any medication for this complaint.
She had an average appetite with craving for spicy food. There were no other complaints in sleep, bowels, thirst, urine or perspiration. She was intolerant to both heat and cold weather. She had attained menopause 10 months ago.
She was a home maker staying in a nuclear family with her husband and 2 sons. Her husband was an investment consultant. Both the sons had completed studies and were working.
She described herself as a straight forward and honest person. She was a perfectionist, wanting things to be organized. She was sensitive and could not bear anybody saying anything to her. She expected a lot from people and would feel hurt if not reciprocated well.
She was operated for abdominal hernia 25 years ago. She had also been operated for cataract in both the eyes, 6 months ago.
Her father had expired due to brain tumor several years ago. Her mother was a diabetic.
Her case details were studied by Dr. Shah and she was prescribed Sepia 30c along with research based medicines.
