A case of Trigger Finger found significant relief with Dr. Shah’s medications.

Mr. A. S., 66 years old visited our center on 24th December 2012. His Patient Identification Number is 20436. He was diagnosed with a condition known as Trigger finger. His symptoms had started around 6 months back. The left middle finger was affected. He would experience severe pain in the morning and the tenderness would remain for whole day. The stiffness would be severe and he would require to manually move his finger, with the other hand, only then, the finger would move. He was referred by his brother who was also treated for the Trigger finger by Dr. Shah. He had not taken any other treatment. He also had complaint of lumbar spondylisis since 2 years. There would be severe and continuous tail bone pain. He would get relief by taking pain killers. He also had warts and skin tags on the face and neck. He also suffered from diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. They were being treated by conventional medicines. His diet was average. He liked sweets and disliked sour food. He was comfortable with both temperature extremes. There were no complaints in bowels, thirst, sleep and perspiration.

He was into mining business. His wife was a home maker. His son was attending the same family business. His daughter was married and settled.

He was reserved and calm by nature. He would worry, but would not share it with anybody. His case was studied in detail by Dr. Shah. He was prescribed Lycopodium Clavatum 30c and Causticum 30c along with research based medicines. He reported on 25th February, 2013 with 50% improvement in Trigger Finger. The pain had substantially subsided, but it would get stuck number of times while sleeping. There was insignificant improvement in back pain. His case was reviewed and medicines were prescribed. He visited personally on 2nd May to meet Dr. Shah. He was happy to report 70% improvement in his Trigger Finger. The stiffness had reduced significantly. The movements were free. Now, he did not require to move the finger with the other hand, it moved freely. The pain was less but tenderness was present. He is still taking the medicines to achieve best possible result for all his complaints. Trigger finger is a painful condition that causes the fingers or thumb to catch or lock when bent. Generally, cortico-steroids or surgery is recommended. However, with the help of Homeopathy, one can avoid surgery. Uploaded on 4th May 2013 by Dr. M. N. P
