22 years old young magician was searching for a good treatment for his gastric complaints on the internet, where he came across Dr. Shah’s website. He was staying in Mumbai, itself and hence decided to visit the clinic. He was accompanied by his elder brother who was suffering from Psoriasis and wished to start his own treatment as well. His father and fore father’s were all renowned magicians. Mr. N. V. S. visited the Chembur center on 8th July 2010 and gave his case details. He complained of burning in chest, eructation’s and gases since the past 6 – 8 months. He would get these symptoms 4 – 5 days a week. He would feel as if gases are accumulated in the chest and he felt tightness in the chest. He had irregular meal timings due to his unplanned life style. He would eat spicy, oily and junk food which would increase his complaints. The meal timings were neither regular nor fixed. He would take antacids as and when required. He craved spicy food, chicken and eggs. He would sweat profusely. He was sensitive to both the extremes of temperature. His bowels were clear. He was flabby and over weight in appearance. He was also interested in music and hence was also working as a disc jockey along with conducting magic shows. He also liked event managing. He would often feel anxious regarding his future as his career was not stable. He had cordial relations with family. His father had heart disease and his mother suffered from acidity. He was prescribed Calcarea Carbonica 200c 2 doses along with few research based medicines. He was advised to follow a healthy diet and regular exercising. He called up for the first feedback on 23rd August. He experienced improvement by 20%. He had tried to avoid oily, spicy and junk food. The gases and eructation’s were less by 20%. He was also regularly exercising. His prescription was repeated by Dr. Shah. He visited on 3rd November for his second feedback. His complaints had improved by 40%. The burning in chest and tightness of chest had decreased by 40%. He rarely required antacids now. He was following a healthy diet and lifestyle. His sleep had also improved. He called up for his third follow up on 3rd January 2011. He had experienced overall 70% improvement in all his complaints. He would occasionally feel tightness and burning in chest.
