Few Pills for Many Pains

Mr. R. P, thirty-seven years of age (PIN no. 25778), visited Life Force on 23rd May 2015 Chembur Branch. The patient was suffering from multiple joint pains that were Polyarthralgia since one year. Both the knee joints, left elbow, the Ribs, ankle, heels, feet, neck etc would be very painful with swelling. The stiffness would not allow him to sleep at night, it was rapidly progressing. He was taking Allopathy medicine which included painkillers and steroids.

He was also suffering from ankylosing spondylitis since two months. A backache i.e. the lumbosacral joint was very tender and stiff.

He had an average appetite and decreased thirst. He would like all types of vegetables in his diet, he would feel all the hotter than others. His bowel movements and urine were normal.

He lived in a joint family with his parents and siblings staying together. They were all in Defense Services. He was late to get married and his wife was a homemaker. There was no family history of any illness.

He had taken a lot of steroid treatment in the past.
He was very sensitive, emotional, and got easily angry. He was very anxious about his future and illness.

Dr. Shah studied the whole case and prescribed the research-based medicines along with Calcarea flour 200.

The patient gave 1st follow-up on 23/07/15. He was 25% better. The pain in the knees, neck, and elbow was better, though stiffness was still present. The pain in the back and ankle continued to be the same. The dose of the steroid was tapered down.

The 2nd follow-up was on 19th December2015. He reported that he was much better, but the stiffness was the same. The swelling and the cracking sound was also reduced. The steroid dose was also reduced.

The 3rd follow-up was on 20th April where pains were better by 80%, stiffness had also subsided. The cracking noise in the joints was occasional, and the steroid dose was further tapered.

The patient was very happy as his rapidly progressive polyarthralgia was brought much into control with few pills of Homeopathy.
