Recurrent throbbing headache cured within 6 months of treatment.
Mr. V. K. S., 50 years old businessman visited our clinic on 20th March 2012 from Calcutta. His Patient Identification Number is 18624. He complained of recurrent throbbing headache on both temporal regions since a few months. He would take pain killers daily. The pain would subside in 3 – 4 hours. He would feel nauseating and appetite would become ravenous. He had suffered from malaria, 4 months ago which was treated with conventional medicines. The headache would be at its peak in the afternoon and after going out in the sun. He would also feel it more when empty stomach.
He was a vegetarian. He liked milk and sweets. He disliked spicy food. He would feel thirst often. He was sensitive to both the extreme of temperatures. His bowels, urine, were normal. He sleep was disturbed and he would wake up intermittently.
He was a metal trader. His wife was a home maker. He had a son studying in the 5th grade and he had 4 daughters. The eldest daughter was married and the other 3 were studying.
He was a firm believer in God and extrovert. He would like to remain stress free though he was stressful regarding family and business.
There were no major illnesses in the family.
His case was studied in detail by Dr. Shah and he was prescribed Natrum Muraticum 30c 2 doses along with few research based medicines.
He reported on 3rd May with mild improvement in his headaches. The frequency had reduced and the intake of pain killers was less.
He reported on 2nd July with further improvement, around 50%. The frequency was further reduced to once a week with no pain killers required. He had been complaining of fever on and off since a month with severe body pain. His case was reviewed and medicines prescribed were upgraded.
He reported on 12th September with complete cure in his headaches. There was no headache since 1 month. The recurrent fever was also cured.
He took medicines for another 2 months and reported on 15th November with no episode of headache in past 3 months.
He is continuing the medicines for other minor ailments.
