    24-Years-Old Young Boy Recovered From Oral Lichen Planus With Homeopathy

    A 24-years-old male patient, Mr. N. M. from Mumbai (PIN 30755) visited Life Force Chembur branch on 27th December 2016 for getting his complaints of oral lichen planus treated. He had oral lichen planus from the past five to six months, but it had got aggravated since the last three months. It had started with white streaks in left buccal mucosa after undergoing a dental treatment (Extraction of 3 molars), after which the oral lesions appeared. He had lesions over left and right buccal mucosa. He suffered burning pain while eating food. His burning sensation used to get aggravated when he used to have spicy food and hot food. He was on conventional treatment, but he had obtained no relief. 

    He also had complaints of neck pain. He had this complaint from the past three years. Pain mostly affected the right side of his neck. 

    He had an average appetite. He preferred a vegetarian diet. There was a marked craving for fruits. He had a strong dislike for spicy food.

    He was an engineer and working in a company. His father was a teacher, and his mother was a homemaker. His had a younger sister, who was in BSC final year.

    He had not suffered any major illness in the past.

    There was no major illness in his family.

    He was a confident and sober person. He was quite short-tempered. He did not like a contradiction. He used to express anger in a very violent manner.

    Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed his research-based molecules for Lichen planus.

    Mr. N. M. visited for his first follow-up on 27th February 2017. His Lichen planus was as it is. His lesions did not increase or decrease. Pain in the neck region had reduced a lot. 

    He reported over the phone on 26th May 2017 that there was overall 25% improvement in his condition. Burning sensation and pain were on and off. Neck pain had completely vanished. 

    Later, Mr. N. M. gave a feedback over the phone on 19th August 2017. There was overall 70% improvement in his condition. Burning sensation and pain had reduced a lot. He had started eating medium spicy food, which he could tolerate well enough. 

    He reported over the phone on 11th October 2017 that there was overall 90% improvement in his condition. Burning sensation while eating had reduced by 90%. He now experienced no pain while eating. He was able to tolerate hot and spicy food also.

    Homeopathy can give complete relief from oral Lichen Planus in a short duration.
