The Urticaria started to affect me in May 2007 and there didn't seem to be any medication other than antihistamines and eventually in August 2007 UVB light treatment. The UVB light treatment was a huge relief for a short time and the original lesions started to subside. After some weeks went by I could ascertain that the treatment I was having was treating the outside and effect, but there wasn't any treatment for me internally. I am impressed with the results of Psoriasis. Though the pictures depict a wide area of coverage, the itching has finally reduced and I can finally rest. Also, the red patches are MUCH improved from their original condition, so I know the medicine is working. Some of the original "plaques" have reduced to mere pink lesions. I still have bouts of itching because although I take my meds, I don't always have a good diet. One step at a time, I guess! I expect to see a slight relapse due to winter dryness (hence more itching), but I also think the medicine is going to work overall.
