A Sailor From Indian Navy Gets 80% Improvement In Relief In Lichen Planus With Homeopathy

A 22-year-old male from Mumbai, Mr. S.R. (PIN: 37800) visited Kemp’s corner clinic and started homeopathic treatment in August 2018 for his complaint of Lichen Planus.

He was suffering from the skin condition from 1 year. He had spots on his hands, legs, and abdomen. Multiple spots were present on his body. The disease was spreading day by day. He was experiencing severe itching on his skin along with burning after scratching the skin. Hyperpigmentation marks were present all over the body. He was taking conventional medication for a long time but there was no relief.

He had an average appetite. His thirst for water was adequate. There were no issues concerning his urine and stool. His sleep was refreshing.

He was working as a sailor in the Indian Navy. He was basically from Rajasthan, but, because of his job, he was in Mumbai from the last 1 year. His father was a farmer in a village. His mother was a housemaker. He had an elder sister, who was married. He was very polite and reserved by nature.

His father was suffering from Hypertension. He had not suffered from any other disease in the past.

After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines along with some dietary recommendations to the patient.

On 15th October 2018, the patient reported that there was a very mild change in his condition with the medicines. The itching and burning of skin had reduced with the medicines. He had stopped using all the conventional medicines since he started with Homeopathy. The patient was informed that, as he had taken all steroidal applications in the past, there is a chance that his disease may flareup due to the steroid withdrawal side-effect. The next dose of medicines was prescribed to the patient.

On 21st November 2018, the patient reported being better. The itching and burning affecting his skin had reduced than before. However, he had developed new eruptions on his legs, mainly because he had use steroid creams in the past and, currently, he had stopped it. He was advised to just apply moisturizer on the skin and continue with the medicines.

On 23rd February 2019, he reported being almost 30% better in his relief in the complaints. The spread had completely stopped. The itching on the skin had reduced a lot. No burning sensation was present. Only the hyperpigmentation was left on his skin. All his active lesions were gradually subsiding with the medicines.

On 4th July 2019, the patient was almost 50% better in his relief in the complaints. The itching had reduced by 50%. There was no spread of the disease. It was completely under control now. He was not taking any other medicines except homeopathy.

On 17th December 2019, the patient reported being perfectly fine. He was almost 80% better with the medicines. Only hyperpigmented spots were present on the skin. No new spots had appeared nor the disease was spreading. The relief in itching on the skin was better completely. His skin had overall improved with the medicines. He was overall better with the medicines.

The patient thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for treating him and improving his recovery from lichen planus.

This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating lichen planus incredibly and safely without any side-effects.
