Patient craves for carbonated drinks. She prefers to lie with knees drawn up, since stretching out legs can cause nausea.
  3. Ipecacuanha: It is indicated when severe, constant nausea is not even relieved by vomiting or eating anything. Patient salivates profusely and may have to spit frequently. The person vomits food as soon as it is eaten. There is increased thirst along with vomiting.
  4. Sepia: Nausea is worse from the smell and thought of food. There is sinking feeling in the stomach that makes patient feel faint; eating may relieve it but only temporarily. There is craving for vinegar and pickles, as well as sweets. Patients have a sensation of heaviness or sagging in the pelvis. Lady may feel indifferent to her loved ones because she is exhausted; but physical exercise makes her feel better overall. Everything taste too salty but may also crave pickles, lemons and other sour things.
  5. Symphoricarpus: This is a good non-specific remedy for morning sickness if other remedies fail to give results. There is persistent vomiting during pregnancy. Nausea is worse after any motion with aversion to all food. Debilitating nausea and vomiting. Bitter taste in the mouth, feels best lying on her back.
  6. Pulsatialla: Lady with variable nausea, and intolerance of heat or of anything greasy or fatty. The symptoms are often visible in the afternoon or evening but are typically changeable. There is an absence of thirst and in general only cold acidic drinks are acceptable. There is often a thick whitish‐yellow coating on the tongue, and the general mood is one of tearful passivity, often craving sympathy. She has belches and the taste of food stays in her mouth a long time after eating them. Patient seeks open air even though it might make her feel chilly.
