She had chronic inflammation of lips for over seven years for which she had taken treatment in Saudi Arabia as well as in Dubai. A biopsy was done to confirm the diagnosis of Granulomatous cheilitis. She was an Arab lady and gave her medical history with the help of an interpreter. She had painful, dry, swollen lips with redness and cracks on her lips.
She had taken antibiotics and steroid injections in the past but that gave her only temporary and superficial relief. She also had complaint of chronic gastritis, inflammation of stomach lining, giving her pain in stomach after consuming food for last seven years.
