Freed From Sciatica Pain In 6 Months Of Homeopathic Treatment
A 51-years-old male patient, Mr. Q. S. (PIN 34710) visited Vashi branch of Life Force clinic on 12th December 2017 to get treated for his Sciatica, from which he was suffering for 6 months. His pain would start from the left lower back and radiate to hip, back of the thigh, and extend up to the left toes. He was experiencing a pulling sensation in the muscles. Along with the pain, he was experiencing a tingling sensation, numbness, inability to stretch his leg beyond a limit, and difficulty to stand for more than 5 minutes. Standing for a long time, riding a bike, or walking would aggravate his complaints. His discomfort at nighttime and mornings was worst were worst. There was no position in which he could sit or lie to get a relief. He was taking some steroids and pain-killers with no major relief in his complaints.
He was suffering from Hypertension and was on the conventional treatment for the same.
His mother and sister were also suffering from Hypertension, and his father was having a Cancer.
His appetite was normal, he had no any specific liking or disliking concerned with the food. His urine and bowel habits satisfactory. His sleep was sound.
He owned a Trading Business. There was no major stress in his life, except for his physical complaints due to which he had turned more irritable.
In his first follow-up on 25th January 2018, his pain had increased. He had stopped having the steroids and painkillers after starting with homeopathic treatment with Life Force. It was explained to the patient that the increase in pain is due to stopping steroids and painkillers abruptly and that he was in the steroid withdrawal phase. Dr. Shah revised his prescription and advised him to continue the treatment.
On 19th March 2018, he reported that his relief from the pain was better by 30%, though the frequency of the pain was the same and intensity was reduced. Now, he was able to stand for more than 5 minutes. The tingling sensation and numbness had reduced by 30%. He had stopped his painkillers completely after starting homeopathic treatment with Life Force.
In the subsequent follow-ups, he showed a persistent improvement.
After following homeopathic treatment continuously for around 6 months on 27th June 2018, he reported that he was completely fine. He suffered from no episode of pain in the last 2 months. He could now stand for a prolonged period. He was able to stretch the leg. He no more suffered from the tingling sensation and numbness. Also, after starting the treatment with Life Force, he had not taken any painkiller.
Conclusion:
The above case highlights that there is no need to depend on painkillers to relieve off the pain. Homeopathic medicines have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties which help to relieve off inflammation and pain that too without any side-effects.
