Recurrent Irritating Allergic Cough Successfully Treated With Homeopathic Medicines At Life Force
A 30-year-old female from Mumbai, Ms. D.V. (PIN: 39205) visited Kemp’s corner clinic of Life Force and started homeopathic treatment in January 2019 for her complaint of Recurrent cough.
She was suffering from it for the last 4-5 years. She had a cough. Also, she was suffering from constant itching and irritation in the throat. She often used to feel weak and feverish during the episodes. Occasionally, she was suffering from sneezing and a runny nose. She used to suffer from an episode of cough once in a month, and it used to last for 10-15 days. But, from the past 1 month, it was continuous. Dust and the change of atmosphere triggered her cough. She had to take conventional medicines as and when required. She had done all investigations, and there was no major pathology found. It was an allergic recurrent cough. She also had the complaints of PCOD, for which she was taking allopathic medicines.
She had an average appetite. Her thirst for water was average. Her periods were irregular and delayed. Her sleep was often disturbed.
She was working in the hospitality industry. She was very mild and gentle by nature. Often, she was able to adjust in most of the situations. She was anxious and restless by nature.
Her mother was suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes mellitus, and RA. There were no other major illnesses present in her family.
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed her some research-based homeopathic medicines.
Follow-Ups:
In the first follow-up on 12th March 2019, the patient reported great improvement in her relief with the medicines. She was almost 40% better than earlier with the medicines. Her cough had reduced than before. Also, the frequency of her complaint had reduced. She experienced a cough just for a few days in the past 1 month. The intensity of her complaint was also less than before. She had completely stopped taking all conventional medicines and was only on homeopathy.
On 6th May 2019, the patient reported that she was fine all these days, but suddenly, due to some strong smell inhalation, she got an acute episode of cough. It was very severe and lasted for 6-7 days. She had to take conventional medicines during that time. After studying the feedback in detail, Dr. Shah made some changes in her prescription and gave medicines to the patient.
On 23rd July 2019, the patient reported that she was almost 60% better now. Her cough had reduced drastically. The mucus was still present but less than before. She no more suffered from the feverish feeling. The throat irritation was not present anymore. She was overall better with the medicines.
On 1st December 2019, the patient reported being almost 80% better with the medicines. Her cough had completely settled now. Initially, she was suffering from recurrent cough every month, but, now, it was no longer present. Mucus was present and she had to clear the throat off and on, but the intensity was quite less than before. She had overall improved and was her relief from allergic recurrent cough was better.

This case illustrates that homeopathy is highly effective in treating recurrent cough incredibly and safely without any side-effects.
