Beautiful Recovery From Trigeminal Neuralgia At Life Force Homeopathy
A female patient (PIN: 39075) approached Life Force Homeopathy with the complaint of Trigeminal neuralgia on 7th March 2019.
She was suffering from a sudden electric shock-like pain that would start from the forehead and radiate towards the side of her face, particularly to the left side of the face. The condition was a lot severe and was progressing rapidly for a month.
The patient was suffering from severe pain daily and dull aching sensation almost all the time. During the acute episodes, the patient would suffer from intense and dull pain lasting for 5-6 hours for about 5-10 days.
According to the patient, this discomforting ailment issue started due to the stress which she underwent during the job as a lecturer where she used to speak loudly daily to a large number of students in the college.
Usually, her trigeminal neuralgia pain would get triggered and aggravated by the anger and stress, intake of sweets, hot foods’ intake, while chewing food, during the acute attacks of a cold, while taking sour food, in the winter, early morning, and while thinking about the complaint a lot. She used to experience a slight relief by performing exercises, due to sun exposure, and when her mind would be more occupied with other works.
She was under local homeopathic medication, conventional allopathic medications, and had taken Sujog therapy with some temporary or not good relief in the earlier period.
Dr. Shah evaluated and studied her case detail, by considering her case history and other medications which she had followed earlier, and prescribed homeopathic medicines to the patient.
Follow-Up Details:
When the patient gave the first follow-up, she had not experienced many episodes during the last two months. The intensity of her pain had reduced. A slight dull heaviness of the head was present, but she had not experienced any severe episodes of trigeminal neuralgia. The patient was feeling more confident and relieved.
When she gave the second follow-up, her condition was in control. In the last two months, just one mild episode of pain had occurred in the last 30 days and it was manageable.
After following homeopathic medication from Life Force for 6 months, the patient was relieved a lot. No acute or severe attacks of pain affected her. Just a slight dull feeling of heaviness of head was present that too occasionally. The patient was feeling 90% to 95% relief in her initial symptoms.
The patient was very happy and satisfied with the treatment she received at Life Force.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates that the conventional treatment for Trigeminal Neuralgia is partially effective. One always needs a supplementary or alternative treatment which is best offered by homeopathy. Homeopathy works extremely well in treating most cases of Trigeminal neuralgia effectively and safely without any side-effects.
