70% Improvement In Relief In Lichen Planus In Just 5 Months
A 44-year-old male patient from Nimbahera, Rajasthan, Mr. H. K. (PIN: 41490) registered for Online Treatment at Life Force in October 2019. He was suffering from Lichen Planus since more than a year when he started our treatment.
As per history given by the patient, his skin lesions were diagnosed as Lichen Planus in August 2018. He had lesions over his scalp, face, axilla, feet, and in the Oral cavity as well. The lesions were around 1*2 cm over the face and measured the size of mustard seed in axilla and feet. The disease progressed from the wrist to other body parts including feet, axilla, face, scalp, and oral cavity. He also had a mild to severe itching, which used to increase at night and whenever he used to wear synthetic clothes. As per him, his diseased condition started after he started consuming a few medical products. In the beginning, he took conventional medicines, such as steroidal ointment, which further increased his lesions when he stopped using them. He is a non-smoker and non-alcoholic.
Along with this, he also had a history of constipation, acidity, and the occasional headache. His appetite and thirst were normal. He had a special liking for salty, spicy, and sweet foods and a strong aversion to milk as it worsened his acidity.
He described himself as an overthinker and a short-tempered person. Due to overthinking, his decision-making power had got affected adversely. When angry, he would get violent. He was into a wholesale medicine business, which is very challenging and stressful as he required to deal with orders, payments, and meeting doctors which made his work very stressful. His family was joint with no stressful relations with anyone. He also had a positive family history of Autoimmunity – paternal uncle having Eczema.
When he started the treatment, he was on Anti-Allergic medicines and consuming Ayurvedic Kadhas.
Based on an individualized study of the case in detail, the medicine Sulphur Iodum 30 was prescribed to the patient to which he responded excellently.
Follow-Ups:
The patient started having our medicines in the first week of November 2019. He was reviewed after 6 weeks.
As per the follow-up given by him in December 2019, his relief in the complaints was better by 40%. The intensity of the disease had reduced. The lesions on his face and scalp were a lot better than earlier. He could hardly notice 1 or 2 new eruptions appearing. He was prescribed his second batch of medicine accordingly.
At his second follow-up in March 2020, he improved by more than 70%. The disease spread had stopped. The marks on his feet and face and other old lesions had started disappearing. He was prescribed his third batch of medicines accordingly.
Note: The patient was totally off steroids when he started our treatment.
