A 7-year-old boy (PIN: 38667) approached Life Force Homeopathy, for the treatment of his complaint of frequent cold episodes, in November 2019. He was suffering from frequent episodes of cold since the last 3 years. The frequency of episodes was thrice a month, and the duration of each episode was 5-6 days. He was suffering from the symptoms of the cold that include watering from the eyes, a dry cough, 4-5 continuous bouts, rattling cough, lachrymation, pain in the ears that was unbearable, feeling tired during the episodes, weakness, and pain in abdominal muscles due to coughing.

Whenever he suffered from a cold episode, he used to take antibiotics and did nebulization. In addition to the frequent cold, he was also suffering from Anemia.

His history of ailments and treatment history were also asked in detail. The patient had a history of cold attacks for which he had taken allopathic treatment. It was updated for future reference.

When his detailed family’s medical history was asked, the patient told us that his father was suffering from psoriasis, and his mother had a history of recurrent cold episodes.

A detailed case history was taken including both his mental and physical generals. The child was timid, polite, reserved, and would not mingle with others easily. His intellectual sphere was considered. His memory, perception, and intelligence were good.

The patient’s appetite was average, and he was a vegetarian. He had craving for sweets and an aversion to spicy foods. Thermally, he was a hot patient, likes everything cold. His stools were satisfactory. The patient had no urinary complaints. The child enjoyed a sound sleep and had no disturbances or dreams.
