A Teen Found Miraculous Recovery From Alopecia Areata And Hair Regrowth With Homeopathy
Alopecia areata (AA) is an auto-immune disorder characterized by the appearance of bald patches in the hair-bearing areas of the body. The scalp is the most common site of involvement. Alopecia Areata can affect any age group. The usual pattern of hair loss is oval or round.
Although alopecia is not life-threatening, it makes an adverse psychological impact on the quality of life which happened in this case.
Case Study:
An 18-year-old girl (PIN: 42243) who was suffering from alopecia areata, visited our clinic on 6th January 2020. She had developed 2 to 3 bald patches with mild itching on the scalp. She was very mild but very artistic. She loved to dance. Because of her alopecia, she was suffering from depression and had lost her self-esteem.
Family’s Medical History:
The patient’s grandmother was diabetic, and her uncle was suffering from mental retardation.
At Life Force:
After detailed case taking and studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed research-based homeopathic medicine to the patient.
Follow-Ups:
At the first follow-up on 13th February 2020, there was no significant improvement in her condition. Only the itching was slightly reduced.
At the follow-up on 29th March 2020, no improvement was noticed. Instead, the bald patches had started to spread rapidly.
On 22nd July 2020, the patient’s condition was as it is. From 2 to 3 patches, she now had 7 to 8 patches. The condition was getting worse because of rapidly spreading bald patches, and that made her experience a high level of anxiety and depression. As her condition was getting worse, Dr. Shah reconsidered and reviewed the case personally and prescribed the best suitable remedy accordingly.
On 13th October 2020, when the follow-up was taken, a marked improvement in the recovery from the bald patches was noticed. Not only the itching had reduced, but also new hair follicles had started to appear on the bald area.
The patient continued with our medicine till April 2021. Complete regrowth of hair was observed on her scalp. Overall improvement in her healing and hair re-growth had occurred with Dr. Shah’s homeopathic medicine.

Conclusion:
It was a difficult case because alopecia was spreading rapidly, but, with the right homeopathic approach, the patient experienced an overall improvement and healed naturally. Not only did her bald patches got covered with new hairs, but also the patient regained her confidence.
