A 2nd year MBBS student, with a complaint of recurrent Chalazion visited Life Force

A 2nd year MBBS student, Miss. K. H. (PIN 12710), visited Life Force on 30 Sep 2009 with a complaint of recurrent Chalazion. She was having hard swelling on her right upper eyelid since last 5 months. She had Chalazion 4 times in the past one and half year’s duration. She used to take antibiotics every time which used to give her temporary relief.

She was having an associated complaint of chronic Sinusitis since the 3-4 years. She used to get severe cold, headache especially in cold weather and early morning.

Her appetite was good with strong craving for sweets. Her bowel movements, urination and perspiration were normal. She used to get easily affected by cold weather. Her sleep was sound.

She was restless and irritable by nature. She had aggravation in closed room, used to suffer from giddiness and nausea in closed room.

Her mother was our patient; she was on the treatment of cervical spondylitis. Being a MBBS student the patient was more inclined towards conventional treatment while her mother was a believer of Homeopathy. Her mother brought her to the center for a permanent cure of the tendency to get chalazions and sinusitis.

Based on above history, she had been prescribed homeopathic medicine for chalazion. Within initial 2 months, there was significant reduction in the swelling. Hardness was reduced. Complete relief was attained in this Chalazion within next 2 months.

Her Chalazion is completely resolved now, she also dose not suffer from colds and recurrent sinusitis. Her mother still reports for her complaints and the patient accompanies her. She never got a recurrence of chalazions. She now believes in the powers of Homeopathy.
