A 31 year old home maker Mrs. M. K. D (Patient identification number -14530) visited our clinic on 7th October 2010. She was suffering from tonsillitis for past 6 years. Her complaints recurred in every 2 months .She would get better after taking antibiotics in 5-7 days. She had pain in throat along with fever. She could not swallow any food when her complaints occurred. On examination her tonsils were enlarged and inflamed.
She had associated complaint of sinusitis. Her nose being blocked would cause tonsillitis. She had burning sensation in both the eyes along with heaviness in her head.
She was a vegetarian and liked eating sweets. She preferred being in warm weather. Her thirst, bowel movements, sleep, urine and perspiration was normal. She had regular menstrual cycle.
She was a homemaker and lived with her husband and 3 year old son. Her in laws lived in Delhi. Her husband had business of importing and exporting goods.
She was mild and reserved by nature. She was artistic and creative and liked painting and sketching. She was sensitive. She would cry at small trifles.
Her parents had suffered from cervical spondylitis and sister had Underactive thyroid and high blood pressure.
