A sixty four years aged male patient Mr. N.B., He had severe psoriasis on the scalp, hands, legs, and chest and back

A sixty four years aged male patient Mr. N.B. [PIN 11205] visited Life Force on 25 September 2008 with the complaints of extensive Psoriasis. He had severe psoriasis on the scalp, hands, legs, chest and back. He was suffering from this complaint since the last one year. He had worked in a color dye company and he suspected that this had developed as a side effect of exposure to those chemicals. He also complained of sleeplessness.

psoriasis on hand

There was itching, redness, scales, all over. The presentation was that of Psoriasis Vulgaris.
He was an uneducated person. He spoke in Marathi. He stayed with his wife and children.
Two years ago his eldest son expired in a motor accident. This had affected the patient a lot. He was inconsolable. From that period onwards, he became very reserved and silent. He became introvert and disinterested in life. He would remain withdrawn.

He was in tears when he was narrating this part of his life. However these details were very important to make a correct prescription. Dr Rajesh Shah studied the case in detail and examined the patient and prescribed Ignatia 200 C.

psoriasis on back

He showed phenomenal improvement in the first six weeks itself, the redness reduced, the itching reduced, the scales reduced. His sleep improved. After a long time he was able to get sound sleep. He was convinced about a good recovery. Gradually he kept on improving and in a period of eight to ten months, he was cured completely. The normal skin was restored. The skin had healed completely.

In the next subsequent winter, he got a mild relapse and he feared that the disease would again strike him. However this mild relapse recovered by some dose adjustments made by Dr Shah.

This is the third year of his treatment and he is very stable. There is no evidence of psoriasis anywhere on the skin, or the scalp. The patient is happy and satisfied with the treatment.
