Mrs. D. A (Patient Identification Number 13290) visited our clinic for the treatment of Cervical Spondylitis and Migraine on 5th February 2010.

She was suffering from Cervical Spondylitis since the two years. She had severe pain which would radiate from the neck to the fingers of the left hand. There was tingling and numb sensation in the left hand and fingers. Her Cervical pain would aggravate while looking down, while lifting heavy weight and during exertion. She would take painkiller during the acute episode of pain.

She had Migraine since the last fifteen years. She would get severe hammering pain on the right side of her head which was associated with nausea. The pain would radiate from the forehead to the right side of the head. She would get pain due to exposure to sun, during stressful period. She would get acute episode of pain once or twice every month which would last for one day.

Along with Migraine she also suffered from severe hair fall.
Her appetite was average. She had marked craving for chocolates and ice creams. She had offensive sweat. Her sleep was sound but she would get a dream as if she is missing the train and missing a staircase while going descending and getting a jerk.

Her childhood was stressful as there was financial problem in the family and she was staying in a joint family. The relations were not healthy. She was very sensitive by nature and would take “tensions” very easily. She was very nervous from within but would never express it. She had insecurity feelings regarding financial matters and about her close relatives. She was also short tempered by nature.

Her father and paternal grandparents were suffering from Diabetes Mellitus. Her father had Hypertension also.

Dr. Rajesh Shah studied her case in detail. After which she was prescribed research based medicines for Cervical Spondylitis and Migraine.

Within the four months of treatment, her Migraine reduced by 50% and there was slight improvement in the tingling and numbness sensation.

After seven months of treatment Migraine attack were much better by 80%. Her severity, frequency and duration of headache got reduced to a great extent but she would get occasional headache mainly before menses.
Her hair falling stopped.

The tingling and numbness had reduced comparatively. She continued the treatment.

After nine months of treatment she recovered almost completely from Migraine. Her headaches now were rare and of very mild nature. She continued the treatment for Cervical Spondylitis.

After one year of treatment she recovered from Cervical Spondylitis also. Her tingling and numbness sensation recovered. She would not get any radiation of pain from neck to left hand.

She was very happy with the treatment. She keeps referring patients regularly.
