Twenty seven years old female Ms. K.B (Patient Identification Number 17347) from US contacted Life Force on 12th February 2010 for the complaint of Hair Fall. She started loosing hair after her 2nd delivery which was 3 years back. She was continuously loosing hair since last 3 years. She would loose 100-150 hair strands per days. There was considerable hair thinning as well. She had dandruff in the form of few scattered dry spots. She had some disputes with her husband since last 3 years. She was under constant stress which was the aggravating factor for her Hair Fall.

Ms. K.B suffered from hair fall after her 1st delivery as well which was 6 years back. That time it was for temporary period and it stopped on its own. This time it was not under control even after 3 years of her delivery. She was using Nizoral (antifungal) shampoo but it was not helping her to control her hair fall.

She had family history of Leukemia and Parkinson’s disease.

Her appetite was good. She had strong dislike for meat. Bowel habits and perspiration were normal. She was more tolerant to heat. She would get lot of dreams, because of which her sleep was not refreshing.

As a person, Ms K.B. was mild and reserved by nature. She would always suppress her emotions. She was very caring and affectionate. She was social worker. There was lot of stress in her personal life. She got separated from her husband. She was very much worried about her children. Her sister died of Leukemia. She was very much depressed because of all these issues.

She mentioned all these details in the questionnaire. Dr. Rajesh Shah studied her case through the questionnaire and prescribed research based homeopathic medicine. She responded well to the treatment in initial two months of the treatment. Her hair fall was reduced to 50-100 hair strands per day. Again her hair fall increased to 200 hair strands per day in next two months. She was very anxious about this increase. It was explained to her that there are such ups and downs in initial few months of the treatment and it will get reduced with regular medicines. Her case was reviewed and further medicine was prescribed.

In her next follow up after four months, she reported considerable improvement in her hair fall. It was reduced to 50-100 hair strands per day. Itching over the scalp was reduced in intensity but it was still there. Dandruff was reduced to 50%. She continued her treatment.

In her next follow up, her hair fall was reduced further. Itching and dandruff were completely reduced. Hair density was also improved. With one year of regular homeopathic treatment, she could get rid of hair fall.
