Thirty four years old businessman Mr. A.G.K. (Patient Identification no- 21097) visited Life Force on 14th May 2013 for the treatment of Psoriasis.

He was suffering from psoriasis since ten years. His scalp, arms, legs and ears were affected with psoriasis. His psoriasis had started spreading rapidly since 2 months. There was severe itching, scaling and redness over psoriasis lesions. He was using steroidal creams for local applications but that gave him only temporary relief. The complaints relapsed again and again. The patient was very much keen to cure this disease from the roots. So he had opted for Homeopathy.

His father was also suffering from psoriasis.

He was a non-vegetarian by diet. He was fond of eating sweet, spicy and sour food. He had a habit of chewing tobacco. His thirst had decreased. He had complaints of offensive sweating of palms and soles. He could not tolerate hot weather. His bowel movements, urination and sleep were normal.

He was into jewelery business. His father was also into the same business. His mother was a housewife and he had 3 sisters; all married and settled.

On observation, he was an expressive, confident and a polite gentleman. Being in the same business with his father, he had some business related differences with him. He used to get angry easily but would control his anger. He said he was obstinate and dominating in childhood. He was stressed about his psoriasis and his business.

He had suffered from hepatitis A and sinusitis in the past. His father was having hypertension and diabetes along with psoriasis. His mother had sinusitis problem. His paternal grandfather suffered from diabetes and maternal grandfather had lung cancer.

Dr. Shah studied his case and examined him. He prescribed him Lycopodium Clavatum 30 along with the research based medicines for Psoriasis. He was advised to gradually tapper his steroidal applications.

After six weeks on 27th June, he visited our clinic and reported of an increase in his complaints. He had got some new lesions on his chest, abdomen, legs and knees. He even complained of increase in itching and scaling. He was explained about the disease process and the withdrawal effects of steroidal creams and was advised to keep patience. Some changes were made into his prescription by Dr. Shah.

After two months, he visited Life Force on 5th September and reported of considerable improvement in psoriasis. His lesions on the arms and abdomen were much better. Itching had significantly reduced. There was mild spread on legs and chest. His medicines were continued and he was asked to report after six weeks.

He visited Life Force on 11th November and reported of overall 80% improvement. He was happy and content that his lesions on chest, abdomen, arms, legs, scalp and ears were significantly better. There was no redness, no itching and no scaling of the lesions. Dr Shah continued his treatment to prevent relapses and then stopped the treatment after complete recovery.

On 6 July 2014, he sent his relatives for the treatment of Lichen Planus.
He said that he has been completely disease free ever since...

With right line of homeopathic treatment, cases of chronically suppressed psoriasis with steroidal applications can be brought under very good control and significant improvement can be achieved. The relief obtained by Homeopathy is long lasting. This patient is not having any symptoms despite stopping Homeopathy. This was a big achievement because he was continuously suffering from psoriasis for ten years and his father also had psoriasis. Still he showed wonderful recovery.
