Case-2: Complete recovery achieved in case of Molluscum Contagiosa

A 20 years old girl Miss A.S.P [PIN 15566] came to Life Force for the treatment of Molluscum Contagiosa. She had developed 6-7 Molluscum on her right shoulder and the right upper arm.

She had consulted a dermatologist, who treated her for a few weeks and then suggested her to consult a Homeopath.

She was brought to the center by her parents.

Her father was a chartered accountant and her mother was a home maker. They belonged to the upper class Gujarati family. She had a younger sister.

When details about her nature and relationship were inquired upon, she revealed that she did not have good inter personal relationship with her mother.

She described her mother as an irritable and argumentative lady. She described herself as calm, non-interfering and reserved individual. She shared a good equation with her father and sister. She was not known to share her feelings.

When prodded further, she revealed that she was deeply sensitive. She would always contemplate on what others think of her and about her image in the eyes of others.

She was very 'touchy' towards comments and criticism. She described her mother as emotionally insensitive and in her own world. Her mother would always interfere and dominate her. She would feel loss of self identity and off late she had become very bitter about it. She had a lot of anger towards her mother; however she would not express it.

She would simply remain silent for a few days.

She was more tolerant to the cold. She had a craving for sweets and sour food.

She was good in her studies. She was in the final year of Engineering. She was fond of reading.

Her father suffered from diabetes and her mother suffered from osteoarthritis.

Dr Shah spoke to her in detail and examined her and then prescribed Staphysagria 30 C.

In the first follow up, she reported a slight reduction in the size of the Molluscum.

In the second follow up, she reported further reduction in the size of the Molluscum.

Dr Shah made the dose Staphysagria 200 C.

In the next follow up, there was complete recovery. All the Molluscum had healed completely.

Her treatment was stopped.

A well taken case, a detailed case analysis and correct selection of Homeopathic medicine and dose can work wonders.
