A teenager found excellent result in Nocturnal Enuresis within 3 months of medication.
Mr. V. A. M., aged 20 years (Patient Identification Number - 20038) visited Life Force center on 9th October, 2012. He was accompanied by his mother. He was suffering from Nocturnal Enuresis since 2 – 3 years. The frequency would be 3 – 5 times /week. It was an embarrassing situation for him and had affected his self esteem. He had not taken any medication for this as he would feel ashamed to discuss it with any person.
He had also been suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome since 2 years. He would go for stools 6 – 7 times in a day. He would feel urgency to pass motions. There would be abdominal pain occasionally. He would occasionally feel constipation. He had not taken any medications since 2 months. In the past he had taken allopathic, ayurvedic and acupuncture treatments.
His appetite was decreased with no specific liking or disliking. He was sensitive to warm weather.
He was facing some stress regarding familial issues. He was studying in commerce stream and also doing correspondence in MBA. He used to stay with his maternal uncle and his family as his father had divorced his mother in his childhood. The relations with his maternal uncle were not cordial and so they had separated a year back. His maternal grandmother was suffering from some mental illness and hence this was the additional stress to the patient. They were staying along with his maternal grandmother. He was nervous and apprehensive.
His case detail was studied by Dr. Shah and he was prescribed Causticum 30c along with few research based medicines.
He reported on 21st November, 2012 with considerable relief in his Nocturnal Enuresis. The frequency had reduced to 2 times/ week since 1 week. The Irritable Bowel Syndrome also had been relieved considerably. He felt better with medication for first 2 weeks and then it had becomes stable.
