I was taken aback when i was detected with Hep-C along with cirrhosis of liver, in April 06. I hardly knew about the disease, then. I consulted the physician and gastroenterologist and was advised treatment with interferon, but nobody would commit that it will eradicate the Hep-C infection. I've seen a marked improvement of my Lichen Planus recently. My skin has pretty much stopped peeling and its texture is returning to normal. I am now left with residual hyperpigmentation of lichen planus that I am very anxious to get rid of. The dark spots of Lichen Planus are very visibly fading.
