    A female patient Mrs. P.V. (PIN: 35474) visited Paud Branch of Life Force Homeopathy on 29th January 2018. She had complaints of Sciatica. The patient was suffering from discomforting symptoms, such as the pain in the right leg which used to start at the right hip and radiate to the ankle and tingling sensation and numbness in the right leg. The range of movements of her legs was normal. She had no history of any injury and surgery. For her complaints, her orthopedic doctor had advised her to go for surgery. The neuro-surgeon had recommended her to not to go for surgery. Her complaints used to get aggravated by walking and standing, and her relief from these complaints used to improve by having rest and applying hot fomentation.

    MRI Lumbar Spine:

    • Degenerative lumbar spondylosis, Sacrificed L5 vertebra.
    • Minimal retrolisthesis of L4- L5 vertebra. Diffuse disc bulge at L4 - L5 level indenting the thecal sac and encroaching upon B/L neural foramina/ exiting roots.
    • Mild diffuse disc bulges at L2-3 and L3-4 levels indenting the thecal sac without significant neural compression.

    Follow-Ups:

    When the patient gave the first follow-up on 6th March 2018, her complaints of Sciatica were as it is. There was no major change in her condition. Her acidity had reduced.

     

    Later, when she gave the second follow-up on 1st May 2018, her complaints of sciatica had reduced by 20%. The pain in her right leg was on and off now. Tingling sensation and numbness had reduced. Also, her acidity had reduced.

     

    At her third follow-up on 18th June 2018, her complaints of Sciatica were as it is as in the second follow-up. No major change was observed in her condition.

     

    When the patient gave her fourth follow-up on 29th July 2018, her pain in the right leg had reduced. Her discomfort of the tingling sensation and numbness was as it is.

     

    At her fifth follow-up on 11th September 2018, the pain in her right leg had alleviated. However, the numbness and tingling sensation were as it is.

     

    When she gave the sixth follow-up on 21st October 2018, her discomforting pain in the right leg had reduced. But, the tingling sensation and numbness were as it is. Her relief from the complaints of acidity was better.

     

    When the patient gave the seventh follow-up on 24th December 2018, her complaints had reduced by 40%. Also, her pain had reduced. However, the tingling sensation and numbness were as it is. Her relief from acidity was better.

     

    At her eighth follow-up on 5th February 2019, her complaints had reduced by 60%. Her pain, as well as the tingling sensation and numbness, had reduced. The patient’s relief from acidity had improved.

     

    At the ninth follow-up of the patient on 26th March 2019, her complaints had decreased by more than 60%. Also, her pain, as well as the tingling sensation and numbness, had reduced. Her recovery from acidity was better than earlier.

     

    When the patient gave the tenth follow-up on 4th May 2019, her relief from the complaints had improved further. Her pain was reduced. She no more experienced tingling sensation now. Also, her relief from acidity had improved.

The patient told that no significant pain was affecting her. She no more experienced tingling sensation now. However, her acidity had increased.
