MUMBAI: The tiny, white homoeopathic pills could be as effective as allopathic painkillers, says a new research from the city's premier research institute.

The research was done in the Institute of Chemical Technology, formerly called the University Department of Chemical Technology, in Matunga, along with homoeopathic specialist Dr Rajesh Shah.

This research was conducted in 108 patients using two homeopathic medicines for a range of painful conditions, to examine the comparative efficacy of two medicines. The study has demonstrated efficacy of homeopathic medicines to treat various painful conditions.

This article is based on original research on healthy human volunteers, where effects of potentized homeopathic medicines in 30c potency has been demonstrated in a placebo controlled trial. The author has also introduced new filters and analytical method of qualifying some of the symptoms.
