Homeopathy Gives Good Results In Treating Lichen Planus

A 25-years-old young man, Mr. V.P.P. (pin no- 27137) consulted for Lichen Planus at Life Force on the 24th Oct 2015. He had developed hyperpigmented, scattered, & irregular spots on his chest, abdomen, both legs, right thigh, nape, & lower back since six months. The eruptions were thick, raised, and dark brown with occasional itching. It was clinically diagnosed as Lichen Planus. He had applied some ointment on it. He was taking Ayurvedic treatment since 2 months, but it was not providing any significant result.

He had a fair skin and was of average build. He was non-vegetarian by diet. He desired spicy food. His thirst was average. He would prefer the summer season more than winter. His bowel movements were regular. His sleep was sound. He didn’t see peculiar dreams.

He was preparing for a competitive examination. His father was in a government job, and his mother was a teacher.

He had no specific past history, but in his family history his mother was suffering from asthma and his father was suffering from allergic asthma.

Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed him research based molecule.

On 24th Dec 2015, he visited our center for a follow-up. His complaints had started to show an improvement. All the spots had become dull in color and his itching had totally subsided.

A few months later, on 8th April 2016, when the patient visited our center, his condition was under control. No new spots had appeared.

When he visited again on 7th September 2016, his neck spots showed an improvement but other spots were the same. So, Dr. Shah did the necessary changes in the prescription.

The patient next visited our center on 23rd Dec 2016 for a follow-up. His Lichen Planus had improved by more than 70%. Due to heat, he experienced itching on occiput area.

On his next follow-up on 27th Feb 2017, he reported an improvement of more than 75%. Due to the exam stress, a few new spots had appeared on his scalp.

On 26th April 2017, he visited that center for a follow-up. His condition had improved by 80%. Overall, he was doing very well with the treatment.

The patient is still continuing the homeopathic treatment from Life Force for further improvement.
