Tinea Cruris Got Treated Effectively With Homeopathy At Life Force
A 14-years-old boy from Mumbai, Mr. D.M. (PIN 27012) approached Life Force in Oct 2015 for treating his Tinea cruris.
He was suffering from the complaints of fungal infection, which was in the form of slight hyperpigmented pruritic skin with reddish elevated edges, since 1 week on his groin region. He was suffering from itching and irritation over the affected area. His fungal infection was progressing slightly. His itching and irritation used to get triggered after taking a bath and at night.
He had no other associated complaints.
His appetite was average. He had a strong desire for sweets. He had an aversion to spicy food. His perspiration was profuse on his groin region. He was sensitive to the heat. His stools and urine were satisfactory and no abnormality was noted.
He was a student studying in 9th standard. His father and mother both were in a business.
His father was suffering from vitiligo, eczema, and lichen planus. His mother was suffering from urticaria and hypertension. His paternal grandfather had cancer.
He had not suffered from any major illness in the past.
He had a very hyperactivity personality. His memory was very sharp. He liked company always. He loved gadgets.
Dr. Shah studied the case in detail and prescribed Tellurium 30 C TDS along with research-based homeopathic medicines for 6 weeks.
On 2nd November 2017, the patient gave follow-up over the phone. There was 75% improvement in his eruptions. His itching & dryness had also reduced.
On 9th December 2017, when he visited for his second follow-up, there was more than 75% improvement in his condition. Only hyper-pigmentated marks were left. Itching and irritation was also cured. He was able to sleep at night.

Conclusion:
