Stubborn, Chronic Eczema Was Completely Cured With Homeopathy
2 years old child Master. MZS (PIN 18351), who was a resident of Mumbai, visited Life Force Homeopathy in February 2012 along with his parent for the treatment of eczema.
His parents noticed a reddish rash on his body when he was 3 months old. Gradually, the eruptions kept on increasing and he suffered from extensive eczema. He would get reddish, tiny pinpoint eruptions all over his body. He would experience intense itching, scaling of the skin along with thin watery discharge from the eruptions. The itching was so intense that he would scratch the affected area till it bleeds. His skin was very dry. On his legs, the rash turned into a thick blackish patch. He would get a severe rash when he used to eat eggs and chicken. The eruptions would increase after a bout of aggression in the child. As per his mother, the itching was more in the midnight. He was suffering continuously for 2 years, and there was no remission of eczema till he visited Life Force.
He was applying Cetaphil moisturizer for 3-4 months to avoid itching and dryness. He took homeopathic medicine for one year before visiting Life Force, but there was only a partial relief with that.
He had associated complaints of frequent cold and hard stools.
His mother has eczema, and his father suffered from urticaria. His maternal grandfather suffered from diabetes.
He would prefer both vegetarian and nonvegetarian diet. He would crave for chicken, meat, sweets, and cold drinks.
His father was an editor in a television channel, and his mother was a homeopath.
Master. MZS was very obstinate and stubborn child. He would throw tantrums, would bang his head, bite others, and would roll on the ground if he does not get what he wants. He was affectionate and would show his love towards the near ones who care for him. He used to love music.
After going through the detailed case history, Dr. Shah prescribed Cuprum metallicum 30 along with his research-based medicines to the patient.
The patient visited with the parents in April 2012 for follow-up. His eczema was better by around 50%. The redness, itching, and scaling were better by 50%. The dryness was also less. The oozing of watery discharge from the eruptions had completely stopped. Dr. Shah prescribed the next medicine as per the feedback.
In July 2012, the patient’s parents reported around 70% improvement in his eczema. Redness, itching, dryness, and scaling were much less this time. His parents were happy with the improvement and continued the medicines prescribed by Dr. Shah.
In October 2012, there was further improvement in his relief from eczema.
In February 2013, his eczema was completely better than earlier. There was no redness, itching, scaling, dryness, or oozing present. His skin was looking healthy. Parents stopped the treatment of eczema as advised by Dr. Shah, as the patient’s eczema was completely better.
In April 2018, the patient again visited with the parents for the treatment of hyperpigmentation of the skin. There was no relapse of eczema between February 2013 to April 2018. The patient was completely free from the symptoms of eczema.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that in a chronic and recurrent disease like eczema, well-selected homeopathic medicines when taken under the guidance of an expert homeopath not only stop its recurrence but also gives a long-term relief from the disease.
