80% Recovery From Lichen Planus Found In 10 Months Of The Treatment At Life Force

A 61 years old lady, Mrs. M.R.V. (PIN 32366) consulted at Life Force for her lichen planus complaints on the 6th June 2017. She had developed hyperpigmented & spherical spots scattered on her forearms, abdomen, back, both thighs, breast, and inguinal region for two-three months. Also, she was suffering from oral and genital lichen planus. She was experiencing increased salivation and burning in the mouth. Her disease was progressing very rapidly for the last 2 months. She was taking homeopathic medicine for 1 month from another center, but she was not getting any significant results. Apart from Lichen Planus, she was also suffering from epilepsy for 30 years for which she was taking antiepileptic medicines.

She had fair skin, and she was of average build. She was vegetarian by diet. She desired sweet food and fruits. There was an aversion to spicy food present in her case. Her thirst and perspiration were average. Her bowel movements were not satisfactory. Her sleep was sound.

She was working in the pathology department at Bombay hospital. Her husband was retired.

She had a past history of a tumor that was operated and excised in 1990. She had a family history of constipation.

Dr. Shah studied her case in detail, and she was prescribed a research-based molecule.

On 26th June 2017, when she gave her first follow-up, her complaints had aggravated. Her itching and burning in the mouth had aggravated.

On 10th July 2017, when the patient visited the center, the patient informed that her lichen planus was slightly better than earlier. On her hand, thigh, abdomen, and back, she experienced more than 50% improvement. No new spots had appeared.

A few months later on 17th August 2017, she informed that no new spots had appeared. Her burning and salivation all had reduced.

Later, the patient gave the follow-up on 31st March 2018 with a significant improvement in her complaints. Her relief from lichen planus had improved by more than 80%. No active lesions were observed. Only hyper-pigmented spots had remained. All her lichen planus spots showed an overall improvement.

The patient is still continuing the homeopathic treatment from Life Force for further improvement.

Conclusion:

This case study highlights that homeopathic treatment is strongly recommended for treating a chronic disease like Lichen Planus.
