A Great Relief From Ankylosing Spondylitis Was Obtained By Homeopathy At Life Force

A 44-years-old male patient, Mr. A.D.V. (PIN 26636) reported to the clinic with the complaints of Ankylosing Spondylitis. He had been suffering from ankylosing spondylitis from the last 5-6 years. He was experiencing severe stiffness and pain in his back and cervical region. He could not move his neck upwards and in the left direction. He could not turn in bed comfortably. He was unable to sleep on his back. He had a spine curved abnormally to some extent. His pain was severe and continuous.

In his X-ray, which was done in 2013, exaggerated kyphosis (abnormally curved spine) was observed in the dorsal spine. The reduction of D10-D11-D12 disc space was also observed. His RA test was positive, and his CRP was very high. He had done an MRI of the spine also.

He was on painkillers, when the pain would be unbearable, but with a little relief from the pain. He had already taken homeopathic and Ayurvedic treatment for some years but didn’t get a significant result.

Besides this, he was also suffering from hypertension and osteoarthritis of the left knee joint.

He was non-vegetarian by diet. His appetite was normal with a craving for sweets. He had an average thirst. He was experiencing profuse and offensive perspiration, mainly on the face. His bowel and bladder movements were normal, and he preferred the cold climate. He was obese by built. His sleep was sound.

He was an Assistant Vice-President in a bank. His wife was doing a government job. He had two children, his daughter was 9 years old and his son was 5 years old. His mother was a homemaker.

He was an expressive person and would get anxious and tensed due to ankylosing spondylitis. He had the fear of water and height. He took the time to mix with the people. He was very straight-forward.

He had suffered from the Iritis complaint in the past. His father was suffering from asthma, and his mother was suffering from some respiratory complaints and hypothyroidism. His uncle from the maternal side was suffering from diabetes.

The patient consulted Dr. Shah. He was examined by Dr. Shah, and his case was studied and evaluated in detail. Dr. Shah prescribed research-medicines for Ankylosing Spondylitis to the patient.

In 8 weeks of the medication, on 8th October 2015, he gave his first follow-up. His condition was showing some positive improvement. His pain and stiffness had reduced a little. Arthritic pain in his right knee was reduced by more than 50%.

On 5th July 2016, his condition was improved drastically. In the subsequent months, there was a mild relapse of the complaints but the pain was remarkably lesser than earlier. He was able to move freely. The patient experienced an overall 80% relief in his symptoms. He was able to sleep well. His dependency on the painkillers had reduced drastically. Dr. Shah advised the patient to continue the medication for some more time for obtaining complete relief from his symptoms. His knee pain was cured.

On 10th September 2016, when he visited the center, his condition was almost 90% improved. His relief from the knee pain was also in good. But, he was facing some new complaints, such as roughness seen on both the palms. Some hyperpigmented spots had appeared on his ankle, and he experienced an increased night frequency of urination. He was not taking any medicine for the last 4-5 months. Now, after some new complaints developed, he again started the treatment. After studying the case, Dr. Shah prescribed him research-based medicines.

On 2nd November 2016, he informed that his ankylosing spondylitis and knee pain complaints were under control. His relief from new complaints of the roughness of palm and frequent urination had also improved by more than 90%.

A few months later on 2nd October 2017, he gave his follow-up. He informed that his backache was cured, but stiffness in his neck was present from the last 15 days. He was mainly concerned about his kyphosis. His other complaints were totally cured. His Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D were less, so the supplements for the same were advised to him.

Still, he is continuing the medicine from Life Force for further recovery.

Conclusion:

This case highlights the efficacy of homeopathy in treating an autoimmune disorder like Ankylosing spondylitis. Homeopathic medicines are as effective as allopathic painkillers which we have seen in this case.
