Tinea Corporis Got Treated Effectively With Homeopathy At Life Force

A 31-years-old male from Mumbai, Mr. K. J. (PIN 34230) approached Life Force on 8th November 2017 for treating his Tinea Corporis.

He was suffering from the complaints of the fungal infection, which was occurring in the form of slightly hyperpigmented pruritic skin with reddish elevated edges, from the last 7-8 months. The eruptions due to the fungal infection were present on his face, neck, below the ear. His skin was dry. Also, he was suffering from itching and irritation over the affected area. His fungal infection was slightly progressive. He was not on any medication for the last 7-8 months. He had similar symptoms 1 year back for which he had taken the conventional medicines.

He had no other associated complaints.

His appetite was average. He had an aversion to the vegetables. His thirst was average. Thermally, he was a hot patient. His sleep was sound. His stools and urine were satisfactory and no abnormality was noted.

He was an IT engineer working in some software company.

He was a short-tempered person. He would take time to mix with the people.

His family’s medical history was very peculiar. His father was suffering from gout. His brother was suffering from urticaria. His maternal grandfather and maternal aunt were suffering from asthma.

The patient had a past history of gastric esophageal reflux disease and urticaria.

Dr. Shah studied the case in detail and prescribed Bacillinum 30c TDS along with the research-based homeopathic medicines for 6 weeks.

In the first follow-up, the lesions of the patient were slightly better than earlier. The itching had reduced to a minimum.

In the subsequent follow-up, the patient experienced around 80% improvement. His eruptions were no more active, and the itching had stopped completely. There was no recurrence of new eruptions from the time the treatment had started. The only concern of the patient was post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and, for that purpose, the patient is still continuing the medicines.

Conclusion:

This case study illustrates that homeopathy is strongly recommended and highly effective for treating Tinea corporis.
