The Discomforting Symptoms of Recurrent Tonsillitis Treated At The Root Level Homeopathically
An 8-years-old boy, Mast. N.P. (PIN: 35622) visited Life Force clinic on 9th February 2018 for the treatment of Recurrent Tonsillitis. He was suffering from frequent episodes of Tonsillitis for past 1 year. During the episode, he would experience pain in the throat that would lead to the difficulty in swallowing along with a fever, chills, and enlargement of the lymph nodes. Besides this, he was suffering from Allergic Bronchitis in every 2-3 months. He would get an acute episode of Bronchitis. During the episode, he would suffer from the cold, cough with yellowish difficult expectoration, fever, and headache. His complaints would get worse after having cold drinks, in the winter, and in the rainy season. As per the requirement, his acute episode of Tonsillitis and Allergic bronchitis were managed by allopathic medicines. The parents of the patient were worried as in every 1-2 months there was a need to give anti-allergic medicine or antibiotics to the child.
He was a vegetarian by diet and had craving for sweet and sour foods. He would perspire profusely and be sensitive to the cold. In past, he had not suffered from any major illness. In his family, his father was suffering from Ankylosing Spondylitis complaint who is under the care of Dr. Rajesh Shah for the past two years. His paternal grandfather was a known case of Diabetes and Hypertension.
Mast. N.P. was mischievous by nature and loved drawing. Based on the case history and details, Dr. Shah studied the case thoroughly and prescribed CALCAREA IODUM-30 to the patient.
When the patient visited us on 28th March 2018, his Tonsillitis complaints were as it is. Still, his lymph node enlargement was prominent, and there was no change in his complaints of Tonsillitis with the first set of medicines, though he had started responding positively with regards to Allergic Bronchitis complaint.
On 2nd July 2018, the parents of the patient reported that his relief from the complaints was much better. He didn’t experience an acute episode of Tonsillitis and Allergic Bronchitis in the past three months.
Thereafter, his recovery was maintained. Still, he is continuing with the Homeopathic medicines for a long-time remission.
Conclusion:
Tonsillitis is one of the most common upper respiratory tract infections and is frequent and prevalent, particularly among children. This case highlights that proper Homeopathic treatment is able to check the repeated infection of Tonsillitis and offers great relief from it successfully and safely without any side-effects. Homeopathic medicines work wonderfully in the cases of Tonsillitis.
