A Girl From Nepal Finds A Complete Relief In Her Nephrotic Syndrome With Homeopathy At Life Force

A 10-year-old girl from Nepal, Miss. P.D. (PIN:25396) started online treatment under Dr. Shah for her Nephrotic Syndrome in January 2018. She was suffering from nephrotic syndrome right since she was 3 years of her age. In every 2-3 months, she would experience a relapse, which would last for 1 to 2 weeks after having steroids, then for 2-3 months she would be on a tapered dose of steroids, and, once her steroid dose is stopped, she would again get a relapse. Her episode would get triggered after she would experience a cold and cough with the swelling of eyes and distension of abdomen. She had started to gain weight due to steroids. Her parents would get her dipstick urine test done regularly. During the episodes, her urine reports would indicate 4+/3+ urine proteins. Within a few days of starting the steroid course, the urine protein would come to negative or trace.

There was no history of any major illness in the child’s past and in her family. Her paternal grandfather was a hypertensive patient.

There were no complaints with regards to her thirst, bowels, or sleep. She was sensitive to the cold weather.

She was studying in 5th standard. Her father was a running a business of Travel agency. Her mother was a homemaker.

The case details, which were sent to us by her parents through the online portal, were studied by Dr. Shah and he evaluated the reports thoroughly. She was prescribed, Kali Carbonicum 30c along with Dr. Shah’s research-based medicines for four months.

After four months of the treatment on 15th June 2018, the parents of the patient reported that no relapse had occurred since she started having the homeopathic medicines. Her steroids were stopped after starting the Homeopathic treatment on 15th January 2018. Her Urine protein was 1+/2+/Trace in the initial few weeks after starting with Homeopathic treatment. There were no physical symptoms present, so there was no need to give the steroids to the patient. Also, the patient didn’t experience any acute episode of a cold in the last 5 months.

On 20th December 2018, the parents reported that no relapse had occurred in the patient’s condition from the last 11 months. Her urine protein of the patient was Nil. No steroids were given to the patient in the last 11 months. The parents had been regularly checking the urine protein, which was consistently showing the negative result. Her frequency of a cold and cough infection was also drastically reduced, and there was no need
to give any conventional medicines for treating her cold and cough.

She was advised to continue medicines for a few more months as a maintaining dose to prevent the relapse of the condition in the future. Since the start of homeopathic treatment, there was no relapse in her condition. She had been in long-term remission. Her appetite had become normal. Also, the weight, which she had gained due to steroids, had started to reduce slowly.

Conclusion:
This case highlights that Homeopathy is highly effective even in treating steroid-dependent Nephrotic Syndrome. The steroids are effective, but they fail to prevent recurrences for long. The nephrotic syndrome patient also needs the additional homeopathic medicines to help streamline the immune system, make it less reactive, and correct the underlying processes. Experience-proved, result-supported Homeopathic treatment is suggestive of its strong role in treating most cases of Nephrotic Syndrome successfully and safely without any side-effects.
